What Case Builder is

Case Builder is Caseworth's most thorough consumer flow. Instead of a single question and answer, it runs a guided interview that adapts to what you've already told it — building toward a full case file you can bring to an attorney.

Picking a case type and the guided interview

You start by choosing a case type — personal injury, employment law, workers' compensation, family law, consumer debt defense, and others. From there, Case Builder asks questions one at a time, adapting as you go.

If your first description already answered a question — for example, you mentioned the date of your accident up front — Case Builder skips asking it again. You only get asked for what's still missing, which keeps the interview short and relevant instead of repetitive.

The live Case Ledger

As you answer questions, a Case Ledger panel updates alongside the conversation, showing what's been captured and what's still needed — including a court-ready percentage that tracks how complete your file is. See "The Case Ledger & court-ready percentage" for details.

The court-ready packet

Once enough is captured, Case Builder produces a court-ready packet with six sections: Case summary, Legal framework (how the law generally approaches a matter like yours), Governing authorities (the statutes and cases cited), Value & viability (an educational estimate, framed as a range), Evidence ledger, and Filing & next steps.

Every packet carries a "Reviewed" validity badge — Caseworth checks jurisdiction and citations for consistency before you see it. See "Where your results come from" for what that check does and doesn't mean.

Cost

A Case Builder session costs 10,000 credits, charged once for the whole session — not per message. Answering more questions or going back and forth with Case Builder doesn't add additional charges. Regenerating your report later, after adding new details, is free (see "Updating your case report").
