The analysis composer & its modes

One place to start

The analysis composer at /analysis is where every Caseworth conversation begins. Type what happened, pick a mode from the dropdown in the composer toolbar, and submit. Each mode does a different amount of work and costs a different number of credits, because each one asks the AI to do a different depth of analysis.

The four modes

• Ask Lex — quick legal questions, answered in plain English. 500 credits.
• Analyze case — the full Lexstimate report: comparable matters, an educational value range, governing law, and next steps. 8,000 credits.
• Demand letter — drafts a demand letter based on your situation, for you to review with an attorney before sending. 1,000 credits. This is a premium feature — you need to have purchased a credit pack at least once to unlock it.
• Build a case — hands you off to Case Builder, a guided interview that produces a full, court-ready case file. 10,000 credits, charged once per case rather than per message.

Picking a mode

If you just have a question, use Ask Lex — it's the cheapest and fastest way to get an answer. If you want the full picture of a case (value range, comparable outcomes, filing deadlines), use Analyze case. If you're further along and want a structured, evidence-tracked case file you can hand to an attorney, use Build a case. Demand letter is best once you already understand your situation and want a draft to review with counsel.

You can switch modes at any time from the same composer — you're never locked into the first one you pick.
